The space of the gurus feets is rarest and ultimate for even the Gods, it is our highest fortune to offer to the Guru the best offerings from the traditions of various gods.

Guru Gita 46th Verse

Evaṁ gurupadaṁ śreṣṭaṁ devānāmapi durlabhaṁ | garuḍoraga-gandharva siddhādi surpujitaṁ || 48 || 48.

Thus the space of Guru’s feet, gurupada, is ultimate and greatest, which is rare for even the Devas (gods) to attain.

It is worshipped by Garuḍa, serpents, Gandharvas, Siddhas, and the Gods.

Guru Gita 55th Verse

yasya smaranmatreṇa jñānamutpadhyate svayaṁ | saḥ evam sarvasampattiḥ tasmāt-sampūjāyed-guruṁ || 55 ||55.

By the mere remembrance of whom, the knowledge of the Self (the inner-awakening) dawns in one by itself;

He, that Guru only is one’s entire wealth. Therefore, worship the Guru.

Hinduism reveres the Guru as a direct manifestation (Avatar) of Paramashiva – the Ultimate Supreme Being. When an Avatar descends as Guru, not only does He lead you to enlightenment, He creates a breakthrough in all of humanity, taking them to a whole new level of superconsciousness and manifesting superhuman powers as a side effect.

Guru Purnima is the day when the cosmos itself aligns to support you to live the State of Paramashiva, radiate the Space of Paramashiva, and manifest the Shaktis of Paramashiva. This day is key to achieving higher states of consciousness.

Dakshina is a disciples offering of love and gratitude to the Guru. It may be anything – flowers, fruits, money, rice, sponsoring for Aadheenam activities, offering puja, precious items, anything…. The material gifts one gives are symbolic of the ‘ahamkara’ (ego) of the disciple; which is the only thing the guru asks for – the limited identity of the disciple, so he may leave it behind and grow into the limitlessness of the Supreme.

On this day, the Master unconditionally accepts anything given with gratitude. When it is offered directly to the enlightened Guru, it will liberate you from Karmas and negative patterns that are blocking your success in this life.

Billions of disciples and followers around the world celebrate the happening of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam (Swamiji) as the ultimate Guru – Paramashiva
