Instruction on Wearing One-faced Rudraksha

One faced Rudrāksa (containing one line) is considered to be the transcendental Reality Itself (Absolute or Para-Brahman). By wearing it, the man who has conquered upon the senses remains immersed in the Transcendental Reality (25)

Instruction on Wearing Two-faced Rudraksha

  1. Two faced Rudraksa is of the nature of half-woman God (Ardhanarishvara). Lord Ardhanarishvara is pleased if the devotee wears it regularly (26).
  2. The Rudraksha bead with two faces is of the inner-embodiment of Ardhanarishvara and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of Ardhanarishvara (Shiva united with Shakti). (Jabala upanishad).

Instruction on Wearing Three-faced Rudraksha

  1. Three faced Rudraksa is of the nature of fire. The sin committed by killing a woman is removed immediately by wearing it. Three faced Rudraksa is considered to be the nature of the three fires (southern fire, householder fire and welcomer fire). The fire- god is pleased to fulfill the desires of the person who puts it on (27).

Instruction on Wearing Four-faced Rudraksha

  1. Four faced Rudraksa is of the nature of Brahma and five faced is considered to be five-brahmas (28). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with four faces is of the form of the four-faced Brahma and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of Brahma. (Jabala upanishad)

Instruction on Wearing Five-faced Rudraksha

  1. Five faced Rudraksa is of the nature of Brahma. By wearing it the sin committed by killing the Brahmins is annihilated. Lord Sadasiva is pleased with the wearer of it (29). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with five faces is of the form and nature of Pancha Brahma, the five-faced Sadashiva, and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of Pancha Brahma i.e. Sadashiva drives away the sin of killing a human. (Jabala upanishad)

Instruction on Wearing Six-faced Rudraksha

  1. God Kartikeya and Vinayaka are the Lords of the six faced Rudraksa. No obstruction can come nearer if one wears it and immense spiritual wealth may be achieved (30). (candrajñāna āgamā )

Instruction on Wearing Seven-faced Rudraksha

Instruction on Wearing Eight-faced Rudraksha

  1. Eight faced Rudraksa is of the nature of the gods Dikpalas — the preservers of the sides and goddess Ganges. These gods are pleased to fulfil the desires of the devotee who wears this Rudraksa (32). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with eight faces is of the presiding Divinity of the eight-fold Nature (five elements, mind, ego, and matter) or the eight Vasus and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of these Devatas and becomes truthful being (satya vādi). (Jabala upanishad)
  3. A Rudrdksa with eight mukhas is called VasumQrti and is considered to be the form of Bhairava, by wearing it one enjoys his full life, and becomes Siva after his death.(73)  (Shiva Mahapurana)

Instruction on Wearing Nine-faced Rudraksha

  1. Nine powers such as Varna etc. are the controlling agents of the nine faced Rudraksa. Mere wearing it pleases these nine goddesses (33). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with nine faces is of the form of the Nava-Shaktis and the devotee wearing it attains the grace and love of the Nine Powers. (Jabala upanishad)
  3. Rudraksa with nine mukhas is called Bhairava or Kapila the great sage. Its presiding deity is Navadurga or Mahesvari.(74) This Rudrdksa should be worn over the left arm with devotion and by doing so, he surely becomes Sarvesvara like me(75). (Shiva Mahapurana)

  1. God Yama is the Lord of the ten faced Rudraksa. Undoubtedly he is gracious to the person who puts it on, there is no doubt in it (34). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with ten faces is of presiding Divinity of the ten Yamas who grants immortality and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of achieving peace of the mind; of this there is no doubt. (Jabala upanishad)

Instruction on Wearing Eleven-faced Rudraksha

  1. Eleven faced Rudraksa is of the nature of eleven Rudras. Indra is its lord. Immense fortune may be achieved by wearing the same (35). (candrajñāna āgamā )

Instruction on Wearing Twelve-faced Rudraksha

  1. Twelve faced Rudraksha is of the nature of Mahavisnu. Twelve Adityas are the lords of it. It enhances the pleasure of these gods (36). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with twelve faces is of the form of Mahavishnu or the twelve Adityas and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of Moksha. (Jabala upanishad)

Instruction on Wearing Thirteen-faced Rudraksha

  1. The auspicious thirteen faced Rudraksa is the bestower of all desires, sanctity and purity. Mere wearing of it pleases the god Kamadeva (37). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with thirteen faces is of the presiding of the Kama, the god of fulfilling desires, and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of Kāma in gratifying all desires. (Jabala upanishad)
  3. Rudraksa of thirteen faces represents Vishwadeva and by wearing it all the desires of a person are fulfilled, besides gaining fortunes. The good fortunes always overshadow his house(79). (Shiva Mahapurana)

Instruction on Wearing Fourteen-faced Rudraksha

  1. Fourteen faced Rudraksa has originated from the eyes of the Rudra. It is the annihilator of all diseases and the bestower of good health (38). The face of the Rudraksa is equivalent to Lord Rudra. All the gods reside on the points of it. The person who wears such Rudrakshas immediately becomes free from all sins (39). (candrajñāna āgamā )
  2. The Rudraksha with fourteen faces is of the form of Rudra being generated from His eyes and the devotee wearing it attains the grace of destruction of all diseases. (Jabala upanishad)
