    WHO IS DEVI RAJARAJESHWARI?

    Rajarajeshwari is the Cosmic Mother Parashakti Herself.

    Rajarajeshwari literally means ‘the royal and the most supreme Goddess.’
    She is the most splendid form of the Cosmic Mother – the merciful and protecting Cosmic Energy. 

    the SPH says, there was a time when Paramashiva did not assume a body but Parashakti assumed a body – that avatar is Raja Rajeshwari Devi.
    Paramashiva and Parashakti cannot be separated, hence Rajarajeshwari is the embodiment of the union of Parashakti and Paramashiva.

    Rajarajeshwari is the concentrated form of all Gods and Goddesses, the sum total of all the energies of the Cosmos. She is care, love, mercy and Divine grace personified.

    Devi Rajarajeshwari is known as Avyajakarunamurthy – merciful without any reason.

    BENEFITS OF BEING A PART OF RAJARAJESHWARI BRAHMOTSAVAM 

    The word Brahmotsavam is a combination of two Sanskrit words—Brahma (God of Creation) and Utsavam (festival) which means the festival conducted by Brahma himself.
    A Brahmotsavam is celebrated for 10 days, starting with the Purvanga Utsavam (preliminary rituals) to invoke the blessings of various Gods to make the Brahmotsavam successful, following into the main festival where the Deity is given a special bath and taken in procession around the streets of the temple on divine vehicles for 10 days. This is culminated by the Uttaranga Utsavam (posterity rituals) where the energy of the Deity is cooled down and absorbed back into the Ananda Gandha of SPH.

    O! Mother! I strongly intend to surrender my life, composed of my mind and my five sense organs, to your lotus feet and be drowned in that lotus forever, like a six-legged insect (bee).
    Thy feet are the auspicious floral bouquet from the Kalpaka tree, They dole out the honey of prosperity in their bunch of beautiful flowers.
    Thy feet incessantly grant what all that is desired by the poor and miserable souls.
